CHILDREN OF THE CRODA

This work was born from the desire to tell our territory taking into consideration the new Italian social reality. A complementary sculpture which through its installation on the boulder brings new contents, redefining the object itself and becoming one with it. A work that pays homage to multiculturalism and the plurality of voices because they are part of the same story: the Croda transcends its territorial reality symbolically becoming the earth, mother of every man. A sculpture that prefers poor materials such as concrete and the earth of the fields, to underline the strength of simplicity: a simplicity that is also found in the stylistic choice, in the lines of human forms, which, as in African art, make approximation the way to go beyond the physical and lead the viewer straight towards the meaning, the message. A marriage between Europe and Africa, between past and present, between nature and research, to overcome mental barriers and look, like the two protagonist busts, towards new horizons.

Our inimitable Croder wine, in this new guise, will give us the opportunity to donate part of the proceeds to a charity.
